Privacy Policy

What this service does

TrackSignal is an independent monitoring tool for Shopify merchants. It provides a free public storefront audit and, for paying customers, daily monitoring of advertising and analytics tags. We do not install a Shopify app and we do not access the Shopify Admin API, order data, or customer records from your store.

Account data

If you create an account we store your email address and authentication data with Supabase. We use this to sign you in, enforce plan limits, and send monitoring alerts to the email on your profile.

Storefront scans

When you submit a store URL, we fetch the public homepage over HTTPS, then store scan results such as domain, score, detected pixel or analytics IDs, event statuses, issues, and a fingerprint of those signals. Anonymous audits may be saved without an account. Logged-in monitoring also stores check history and snapshots.

We rate-limit audits by IP address to reduce abuse. We do not intend to collect personal data from the scanned HTML; the page source may incidentally include information the store owner published.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We store subscription status and Lemon Squeezy identifiers. We do not store card numbers.

Email

Monitoring alerts are sent with Resend to your account email. We do not use that channel for advertising lists.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage for authentication and to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Processors and hosting

The app is hosted on Vercel. Authentication and the database are provided by Supabase. Payments are provided by Lemon Squeezy. Transactional email is provided by Resend. Each processor acts on our instructions for this product.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, store, and scan records while your account exists. You can remove a store from the dashboard. To delete your account and associated data, contact us. We may retain records required for security, billing, or legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. We do not sell personal data.
